STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN – October 24, 2008: Swedish weekly financial magazine Veckans Affärer's website VA.se is awarded the Magazine Award in the New Media category. Together with all 25+ magazine websites within Bonnier Tidskrifter, VA.se uses the Sweden based content management system Roxen CMS.

Both KPWebben, Kamratposten's ambitious website, and VA.se were nominated to this year's edition of the Magazine Awards. In the category New Media, the jury choose VA.se as winner with the following motivation: "This is good. The visitors are invited to participate in a tangle of intricate topics. The winner uses classical methods for comments and interaction with the editors, but at the same time uses new concepts such as labeling of all content and especially also personalization. Based on the labels an updated index helps the users to get a quick overview of the website. Add to that a design that is compact, easy on the eye, well edited, and suited to the purpose and the jury can't but agree with the winner's claim to be the most modern website in Sweden – VA.se."

"Roxen CMS is a modern platform that makes it easy to build good-looking web sites. The smart labeling on the website is a Roxen CMS module developed by Bonnier Magazine Group. To us who enjoy picture components, Roxen CMS does a fantastic job and at the same time it integrates easily with 3rd party solutions such as Bambuser that enables us to develop innovative services and features. We look forward to continue to escalate VA.se to new heights together with Roxen CMS" says Mikael Zackrisson, Online Editor-in-chief at VA.se.

"The fact that Veckans Affärer is the winner of two categories at the same time, both in print and online, is evidence of its ambition and vision on a highly competitive market" says Staffan Ekholm, CEO at Roxen Internet Software. Through its innovative approach and success with combining channel content in an attractive way, VA.se stands out as a role model to many newspapers and magazines", Mr Ekholm continues.
