Editing a web page doesn't mean you have to give up your familiar applications on your desktop. Roxen CMS integrates directly with programs like Microsoft Word, Adobe Photoshop and Macromedia Dreamweaver.
The original document will be stored on the web site, therefore giving you all the benefits of version control, workflow and staging. Moreover, documents are accessible by authors no matter if they are working from the office, on the road or from home.
When you want to make a change Roxen CMS automatically transfers the document to your local desktop and starts an application of your choice. Every time you use the save command inside that application the document is sent back to the server – no additional mouse clicks or commands are required!
Simplify your graphics design work
Graphics designers will find the desktop integration in Roxen CMS particularly impressive. They can now skip the tedious steps normally involved in working with web graphics. No longer is there a need to keep separate files for originals and web versions since Roxen CMS can convert many popular image formats into GIF, JPEG and PNG on the fly.
Especially noteworthy is the support for multi-layered files generated by applications such as Adobe Photoshop and GIMP. Layers can be enabled or disabled individually and their transfer effects – for example darken, lighten and multiply – as well as layer alpha channels and type objects are preserved in the converted images.
