LINKÖPING, SWEDEN
30 May 2001
Roxen Internet Software today announced that Poolia, a major Swedish staffing company, has based its newly launched Internet recruitment site on the company's Web Content Management Software Roxen Platform. Systems integrator Ementor was instrumental in providing the right framework for Poolia's use of the site as a business tool.
The site is designed to support prospective Poolia temps in their application phase, and will in coming versions allow existing temps access to the company intranet.
"We are very pleased that Poolia, a services company with limited technology ambitions, has decided to build a sophisticated site based on Roxen Platform. We see this as confirmation that flexible and complex sites can be built outside of the technology industry without excessive cost, and that Roxen IS' strategy of teaming with value adding systems integrators like Ementor is working," said Lars Högberg, CEO Roxen Internet Software.
"Roxen Platform's flexibility allowed us to build a web site that can and will be extended with links to databases and business systems, and that lets the existing Roxen Platform based intranet share information resources with the new external site. This way we are able to provide personalized and highly valuable services to our applicants. The site is adapted to the way we do business, not the other way around," said Leif Öster, Director of Corporate Communications, Poolia.
The recruitment site is focusing on the individual job applicant, and her/his communication needs in the job-seeking phase. CV entry, subscriptions for job postings and automatic matching of job openings to applicants are some of the functions that give higher quality in the contact between applicant and company.
Poolia has decided on one common web architecture, based on Roxen Platform, for all internal and external web based systems. This means that all systems will share one common information structure, with considerable cost benefits and shorter development time for each new web service.
