Gothia partnering up with Roxen

Gothia helps newspapers design efficient workflows and integrate modern systems into their editorial processes. The company now strengthens its cooperation with Swedish editorial systems developer Roxen – a provider of entirely web-based editorial systems for simultaneous publishing of news in digital and print channels. The cooperation involves installation, training and systems integration of Roxen’s software solutions for media customers mainly in Scandinavia.

"Roxen offers an entirely new approach to editorial systems with its suite of modern, web-based tools. Media companies are calling for integrated solutions supporting efficient workflows and multi-channel publishing for print as well as web, tablets and smartphones. For editors and journalists on field assignments, Roxen’s web-interface allows for news to be edited from a computer anywhere. And with full flexibility when it comes to licensing models – from local installation to true cloud services - media companies can tailor the management of their editorial systems according to what suits them best at all times, including avoiding heavy investments in servers and hosting altogether. We are confident that our alliance with Roxen will be a successful one", says Jörgen Stock, Business Area Manager at Gothia.

Roxen, who was recently named one of Europe’s most innovative technology ventures, is a developer of web-based editorial systems for multi-channel publishing. With more than 70 per cent of its sales outside its home market of Sweden, Roxen’s customer list include the world’s largest global newspaper Metro as well as publishers in the US and Europe. Roxen has sales partners in a number of key markets and sales offices in Stockholm, Amsterdam and Chicago.

"For Roxen, partnering up with Gothia means increasing our bandwidth in Scandinavia considerably. Our editorial solutions have attracted significant attention recently, especially from small and medium sized media companies. By partnering up with Gothia we can help more customers improve the efficiency of their editorial processes and reach readers in multiple channels simultaneously", says Per Östlund, CEO of Roxen.

Gothia will remain a vendor independent consultant and integrator for the media industry. Lately, however, the company has partnered up with the industry’s most innovative vendors of editorial systems and systems for ad management.

"The lion’s share of our work is carried out before any system is taken into use. We analyze processes and help design new and more efficient workflows. We support our customers in finding and integrating the right systems solutions for their specific needs. For small to mid-sized media companies who seek a modern, efficient editorial system for multi-channel publishing, that solution may well be Roxen’s", says Jörgen Stock.
