Roxen intensifies North American marketing

Roxen Internet Software’s North American office in Chicago, established in the summer of 2009, will intensify its marketing efforts.

The Swedish software company Roxen Internet based on the experience acquired the last ten months, as well as a result of the economic situation for newspapers in US and Canada, Roxen sees great potential for their cost effective editorial solution, the Roxen Editorial Portal. When newspapers today invest in new editorial technology, the focus is on productive solutions that are easy to deploy as well as integrate with existing and future technologies. It is also important to find solutions that easily supports publishing in different channels – e.g. print, on-line, and on mobile terminals.

As a result, Roxen will extend the team in the Chicago office. Carolina Castilla Carlquist, Olov Hemström and Jim Doherty will complement and assist Urban Jönér in sales and marketing activities in North America. All three have extensive experience from the industry and similar solutions. “I’m really excited to expand our U.S. team. My new colleagues have a long experience from the U.S. market” says Urban Jönér, and continues “With their assistance we will be able to increase our presence and spend more time on both market expansion and customer support”.

For Roxen globally this step means an even higher focus on the North American market at the same time as we as a company broadens our competence and presence. We have seen great interest in how our technology can revolutionalize media production and we strongly believe in the North American market.” says Per Östlund, CEO, Roxen Internet Software.
